Updates.
A few little Amy's Emporium updates.
I know I have been quiet on here since taking over the studio and honestly I think I just felt a bit lost with it all.
Making and selling was such a big part of my life with Amy's Emporium but since 2023 and the Etsy mess it just hasn't been the same, tied in with life being financially difficult for a lot of people, new EU rules, and now tariffs, online sales have become increasingly hard.
Last month I met with a business advisor about the CIC and he looked at everything I'm trying to juggle and told me that I was spreading myself to thin and basically was Amy's Emporium even worth it anymore!
That got me pondering where do I go from here. I think I've decided to go backwards a bit, I am going to dramatically cut back what is available on Etsy, probably just to downloads, designs and message in a bottles and the website will only have stock.
For the time being there will be no made to order or personalised options.
This year I'll be back at folk week and Canterbury for Christmas and might go back to grass roots a bit next year with some smaller fairs which is what I love.
This next week I will be going through what stock I have here and be having a clearance to start a fresh. So keep your eyes peeled for a bargain.
I have loved growing Amy's Emporium over the years but now it's time to accept it isn't going to be what it was in 2023, stop trying to claw it back and move on.
I have new things that I want to grow with the studio and supporting our community with creativity and that needs my complete focus. To those that have been supporting me since the beginning with my autograph books or if you found us because of a wedding and stuck around, thank you.
Do stick around for a sale and to keep your eyes peeled for stock as I make it, available on the website and in Canterbury makers and at fairs.

Community Creative Studios
All of our classes, support groups and clubs have now moved over to our new community interest companies website.
This project has been along time coming and still has a way to go, but I really believe we can pull everything together and create a creative community environment that is accessible to everyone.
